Maggie de Vera is a well-respected Therapist, Expert, Trainer and Consultant in the helping/healing profession. Backed with extensive experience (of over 25 years), education and training, as well as supervising/developing hundreds of Clinicians/Trainees/Interns/Helping Professionals in the field, Maggie is known to work effectively with the most challenging cases and providing an incredible experience in the training and support to her supervisees. Maggie currently runs a private practice in the Bay Area as a Psychotherapist, Marriage Family Therapist, Clinical Hypnotherapist, Sex Therapist, Clinical Supervisor, Speaker/Trainer and Consultant and the Radio Host of "Rendezvous with Maggie". Maggie de Vera is also the Founder and President/CEO of ROYAL- Realizing Our Youth As Leaders Inc., a Non-profit Agency preparing the most disadvantaged and high-risk youth for life and leadership and Therapy Clinic.
MFT Intern/Trainee Therapy support group is comprised of 12 weeks and may continue as an on-going group upon completion. Groups are held on Wednesday mornings from 10 am- 11:30 am (Subject to change to accommodate majority of participants).

Managing Anger for youth
• Does your child need some support in managing his/her anger?
• Does he/she often get in trouble at home, school and/or outside activities?
• Does he/she have a tendency to get into conflicts with peers, family, others?
• Does he/she have difficulty expressing their thoughts and feelings in an effective way?
• Has he/she gone through some traumatic or difficult events that affect their behavior?
With this program, your child will learn many effective skills and tools that can provide them with life-long and necessary ways of dealing with their anger.

• Learning Anger signals and hot buttons
• Specific tools to manage anger reactions
• Cooling off
• Setting goals
• A Personal Action plan

About the Trainer, Maggie de Vera, MFT
Maggie de Vera, MFT has been in the helping field, working with all ages but also known as a child/adolescent/family expert for over 24+ years. She has worked with the identified top 3% most challenging and most severely emotionally disturbed youth and families in the Bay Area. Additional from her private practice as a Licensed Marriage Family Therapist/Psychotherapist, Master Clinical Hypnotherapist and Consultant- Maggie is the founder and CEO of a non-profit organization in the Bay Area preparing disadvantaged/high-risk youth for life and leadership as well as running a community clinic (ROYAL- Realizing Our Youth As Leaders Inc). She is also a Certified Etiquette Consultant. Maggie is known to work effectively with some of the most challenging issues with all ages/population.
